It would be easy to share my positive sketches of strong women, birds, foxes, and other cool things but, here is a face I sketched of a grieving woman. Just being authentic and sharing part of me through art. I genuinely understand now what a grieving heart is. Want to know what I have come to find out? It is in loss and grief that we truly find hope in God! Oh, how I love that bible passage that says… “come to me you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest!”. This is a face that shows a weary soul ready for that heavenly spiritual breakthrough. To be honest… 1/13/19 will be a day that is very hard for me. It will be what was to be my due date. So, there it is. That face… that face that’s tired and ready for God’s comfort and healing in the coming days. So… be authentic in all that you are and in all seasons. And, most importantly, know that God truly desires to love and accept you. All of you. In all emotions. In all seasons. He is madly in love with all of you, even the broken pieces. Be #authentic with Him and uncover how gracious/real God will reveal Himself to you in a time of need!
